Members are not charged the $150 visit fee for routine care covered by membership. Ask at your meet & greet which is the better arrangement for you — if you expect fewer than one visit a quarter, pay-per-visit may cost you less, and we will tell you so.
Labs, imaging, and medications
These are billed at our wholesale cost with no markup. In most cases that is dramatically less than the “cash-pay” rates laboratories advertise, and frequently less than an insured copay. A current price list is available on request.
- Common lab panels — typically a fraction of retail cash pricing
- Imaging arranged through local partners at negotiated rates
- Many generic medications dispensed or sourced at cost
Procedures
Most in-office procedures — joint injections, laceration repair, cryotherapy, wound care — are included in the visit fee. Anything with a separate supply cost is quoted to you before it is done. You will never be told the price after the fact.
What we do not accept
Phil Zhou Medical does not bill insurance, and does not participate in Medicare or Medi-Cal. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, please raise this at your meet & greet — there are specific rules that apply, and we will walk through them with you before you commit to anything.
We accept major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and ACH transfer.
